This is the only auto shop I've ever been to where I felt comfortable. At most auto shops, I get weird looks or glares, and the mechanics often throw confusing jargon at me and try to overcharge. But the folks at Honest-1 are always so sweet and kind, and have even gone out of their way to show me exactly what is wrong and the repair it'll need, so I fully understand what I'm paying for. The customer service is excellent! On three occasions I've needed a ride either from the auto shop or from home, and both times Honest-1 either called me an Uber (for no extra charge) or one of the workers (and even the owner herself most recently) has offered me a ride. I've already been recommending this place to my fellow queer friends and acquaintances. Experiencing hostility at auto shops is an everyday occurrence for folks like us, so finding a place that is friendly and so accommodating is such a blessing. And they always have free snacks and sodas in the waiting room! Honest-1 is absolutely worth the 20 min drive from my house. I may even continue to see them after I move to downtown Cincy.
