I brought my Toyota pickup in for tire rotation and balancing. 2 days prior, I found the brake fluid reservoir low for the first time in 242,000 miles! I asked that they please look for a likely leaking wheel cylinder or brake line while it was up on the lift. They found a leaking right front brake line, which I am now in the process of fixing myself (as I have the tools and know-how). What was a pleasant surprise was absolutely no pushy sales job for me to have them repair it because it is dangerous to drive. I knew that and carefully drove it 2 miles home and parked it in my garage until I finish fixing it. I have owned over 30 cars in my lifetime and only 2 needed the brake fluid flushed: a 1948 Ford pickup that sat for 17 years in a garage and a 1966 Volvo sportscar that sat outside for the last 10 years. Kudos to Honest1 for not pushing me to have them repair it and charge me for extra whatever unnecessary maintenance claims including the ludicrous brake fluid flush other shops have been pushing for. Hooray Honest1, Steve
